Long Distance Caregivers

When you are far away from a loved one who is seriously ill, it can feel very stressful. It’s hard to assess his or her condition. It’s hard to be an advocate and make informed decisions. We can ease the strain of physical distance and offer comfort and security for you and your loved one.

You Are Not Alone

Hospice of Broward County’s compassionate care team members are experienced working with family members who live in different parts of the country. Wherever you are, we are just a phone call away. We listen to your concerns, answer your questions and give you the knowledge you need - walking you through decisions and helping you plan for the future.

We're There When You Can't Be

When you are away, our expert care team is there to meet your loved one's physical, emotional and spiritual needs. You can rest reassured that your loved one is being cared for, whether they are at living at home or in an assisted or skilled nursing facility.

If situations arise in the middle of the night or you are concerned, you can call us. You can talk to a Registered Nurse who will assess the situation and advise you. If attention is needed, a nurse or doctor will visit your loved one and take care of them.

Let Our Family Help Your Family

We view every patient and their loved ones as members of our family. Take advantage of all that Hospice of Broward provides for family members and caregivers by learning about our services and family support.
